Yes and no. There are many styles of “fingerstyle”
From what I’ve been taught and or know, classical guitar is usually denoted (obviously by the nylon strings) but also which fingers you use on which strings. For example. Your thumb is to be used on the bottom three strings, and your top three strings, are to be played by your first finger (pointer finger on the G) second finger (middle finger on B) and third finger (ring finger) on the E…
