   @twighead, probably like you I listen to tons of guitar music – Petrucci, Vai, Satriani etc… and you know what? I saw AC/DC play to 80,000 people at Wembley Stadium, London last week and have never seen a band rock so many people, with Angus’ solos connecting with everyone there. That’s what Angus could teach us all.

    I am not trying to be offensive or argue, just trying to discuss, but what is wrong with progressive rock/ metal? Tool is progressive metal, and they are one of the most talented bands in existance in my opinion. Personally I like a large variety of music, and I think there are some respectable progressive metal bands that are doing good things for music.
