He’s such an amazing teacher. I’ve been lucky enough to study with him for the last 3 years when they come to my area on tours. Incredibly humble player with incredible knowledge of the instrument. He has a degree in Music Composition and studied classical and jazz guitar for many years and it shows in his playing and his unique approach to writing.

I think it’s C sharp, at least the tabs I find are in C sharp anyhow
You are correct.
Everything on Overcome is in C# standard, but everything I’ve heard from their older albums sounds like it’s in D standard.
Also, I’m pretty sure he uses, a 27 fret Ibanez Xiphos for a lot of stuff, so tuned down to C# standard he can still play a high E.
